I think this camera only lets you have the date on the photo when in Postcard Mode. So you're probably in Postcard mode when you're shooting, right? It's possible that what's happening is, because that's not standard printing size, the date is being cut off when the photo prints?

Whoops, I was thinking of the Canon A610! Sorry, my mistake.

With the Fuji A610, you would need a DPOF (Digital Print Order Format) compatible printer. My guess is that the problem is occurring during printing; meaning, the date info is successfully on the image, but the printer it's being put through is not designed to read that particular info.

There's more about this in the instruction manual on page 70; you can also see it here:
http://www.cyberscholar.com/fujifilm/resources/product_literature/A610_A800_Owners_Manual.pdf

If you're using your own printer, let me know what it is and I can try to help you see if it can be set to do this.

You can't print the date on the pictures because Fuji A610 does not have the timestamp feature.
What you have set probably goes into the EXIF data.

However as this camera is Pictbridge compliant and you can use a Pictbridge compliant printer that offers datestamp feature to extract the date and add on to the pictures printed..

If your printer isn't Pictbridge compliant, you will need a datestamp software such as this one to have the date printed.
