I have recently purchased the Fuji Finepix F200EXR Digital camera & when I played back my video footage the voices didn't correspond with the action

The conversation recorded on the camera's video setting is out of time with the facial actions, so
please could anyone explain why this is happening and how to overcome it or is it a manufacturing fault?

This is a sync problem between your video and audio that's usually brought on by the codec the camera encodes to. You can look to see if there's a firmware update for the camera. BUt you can also try a faster card. This will help with write speeds of the footage as it records.

It can also be your computer. How old is it?

Thank you James. Very helpful info. You asked about the age of my laptop. My XP laptop was purchased in November 2005. I have played back the footage on the camera and it is fine, so the information you supplied me is related to the sync ploblem. The SD card I recently purchased is a SDHC card 8GB. Would this be too slow, as I have no idea what to look for when buying this type of thing?
You also mentioned the possibility of a firmware update for my camera. Is this update done through the laptop or the camera, as I am worried that I could cause a malfunction to the camera by carrying out the update, due to lack of information?
Once again thank you.
