I just bought the Fuji F200EXR, but I can't figure out how to change the pixels from 12 to a lower number. 12 is just too large of a file. Help!

How can I lower the Pixels on the camera from 12 Pixels to 6?

I wouldn't. First, you should always shoot at your best pixels. You can always alter the image size with a utilty like Adobe Premiere Elements (about $70) or Google's Picasa (free from Google). The problem with lowering the MP for the native image is that it's reduced to the set quality after it has been processed by the CCD. As such, the light still goes through those pixels, only that after some basic processing steps pixels "thrown out" to make the image to the desired setting and size. This process is called "Choking" and that will cause artifacts and noise. Additionally, you'll also loose details of the recorded image.

Shoot at the highest setting, and then change it in post.

Image quality on this camera can be better at 6mp than 12mp setting. Sharpness is what you care about. High mp without sharpness doesn't accomplish the purpose. I just received mine yesterday. I'm getting use to it, but I'm quite familiar with the Fuji F10. On the Fuji F200EXR, change the file size from L to M (4 by3). That ought to get you down to 6mp. I'll post a review after I get to use my new one in low light situations....one of my favorite things to shoot.
