Hi Matt,

I don't think that there are any digital cameras that have zero delay. The "shoot" command goes always through the processing chip and it takes more or less time. We can still reduce the delay. Best way would be using digital SLR and fully manual mode or burst mode. With point-and-shoot cameras we can get some "delay reduction" if we hold the button half-way down while tracking the subject.

The Kodak Easyshares and some of the new Sony cameras are the quickest on the market at the moment as far as point and shoots go. Other important factors to look at vary depending on your photo needs... let us know what kind of pictures you like to take, etc. and we can try to help you find the right camera.
