In my research I have found no difference between the two. It is an excellent camera though. Perhaps it is a regional name.

Good Luck!

I just bought one of these last night. A couple stores we went to were out of the F20. Best Buy had it but it was the F20 SE. It seems to be a different color, more of a steel gray. I'm in Ohio.

Hi Karen,
Did you buy the F20 or F20 SE?
Further, do you mean to say that the only difference is of colour?
I'm in India.

It is my understanding that SE stands for "special edition." Some stores will have an exclusive agreement with a manufacturer and offer an SE version. The Panasonic SE model that was offered by Best Buy was a different color. Maybe adding letters to the model makes it harder for consumers to compare prices! If I were you, I'd go for whichever you can get for less money.

I too, wondered the difference. I emailed Fuji and was told the only difference was the color.

Sorry I didn't get here sooner! Yes, on Fuji's website it shows the 2 colors. The SE is called "gunmetal". I did purchase the SE, it was $10 cheaper than our local camera store and Target.
