Of those, I think that the SD1100 is the best bet. Compact, vivid color, image stabilization. Followed by the Nikon. Fuji gets good marks and the 1040 is pretty good. in that order. To be sure, though, you may want to swing by this resource. It takes pictures with each and you can compare them side by side.
