My flash has suddenly stopped working on my FinePix F700. Any ideas or do I send it back (again) to Fuji?

I sent it back once for the recall and they overhauled it several months ago. I used to use it daily, but haven't needed the flash in a couple of months. Now, when I turn it on, the flash indicator flashes red for several seconds before turning green, but the flash will not engage when I take a picture.

Take off the back of the camera. With the back removed go to the top left hand corner. Remove the speaker from it's clip. There you will find a plug which has come of it's socket. refit the plug. Then place a bit of foam rubber between the plug and the speaker and it wont come undone again.
