Frankly, you're much better off doing those effects with software - like Adobe Premiere Elements or Google's Picasa (a freebie). The thing is that even if you apply an effect in camera, the image is still processed as color and then altered after the fact. You can have much better control if you do it on your PC than settling for whatever settings are written into the camera's firmware.
