How durable is this camera?

I had a J110w The the barrel got bent when I was jostled while trying to take a photo. So the lens would no longer retract and Fuji would not fix it. They said it was physical damage... I only had the camera for 3 weeks! Is the J150 made just as flimsy?

All P&S zoom lens barrels are "flimsy" in the sense of very fragile. Bent barrel is pretty much evidence of trauma and not covered. That's one of the reasons some are now made with "internal" zooms.
