There is a noice when using video mode. Even more if I use zoom.

Well, one of the reasons why audio is rarely present when zooming on a digital point and shoot is the motor noise. But if you're not zooming, it shouldn't really make any noise. Reset the camera. But in the end, it may need repair. Has it been dropped lately?

I believe that the noise comes from the image stabilizer, it's working during video shoot and the motor buzz gets recorded. My brother has such issues with his camera (some Canon I think), but he can't turn the stabilizer off. Maybe the s1500 can do that, I'm not familiar with it.

Another thing is the zoom noise. You can't avoid it.
