Looking 4 a zoom lens 4 Fuji S3000..any advice?

I have no knowledge re zoom lens for my camera.The letters and numbers I see do not mean anything to me.I want to get closer.Help

Hi Alexander,

There is a teleconverter lens available for the S3000 (you can see it here). Unfortunately, with non-dSLR cameras, such add-on lenses often seriously degrade image quality (because the light is essentially passing through two lenses to get to your sensor). The user reviews for that particular teleconverter seem to suggest that it suffers from that exact problem. I wouldn't recommend shelling out for it. Might be better to save the money and put it toward a newer, longer zoom model.
