I have changed computers and lost my set-up disc to be able to down load my pictures.

How do I download set-up instructions for my new computer for my S3000?

Here are all the drivers you'd need for you S3000, and more: http://www.fujifilmusa.com/JSP/fuji/epartners/ServiceSupportBrowse.jsp?prodcat=628338&sscucatid=664260&item=I664260&NavBarId=I664260.

However, you may want to buy (if your computer doesn't already have it; if the computer's new, it should have a 9-in-1 up to a 13-in-1 card reader) a memory card reader. This way, you can not only take it with you to upload pictures to computers that don't have your drivers installed, but it's hassle free -- you just plug the USB-powered card-reader into a USB port on your computer, plug your memory card from your camera into the memory-card reader, and your computer will ask you instructions on how you'd like them uploaded.

A plug-in version will look something like this: http://www.amazon.com/Sandisk-SDDR-99-ImageMate-Reader-Package/dp/B00064V6SK/ref=pd_bbs_4/104-4349380-7560716?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1191257381&sr=8-4

On the computer, they look something like the top of this computer: http://www.amazon.com/Pavilion-A6130N-Desktop-Processor-Premium/dp/B000RNC4TK/ref=pd_bbs_2/104-4349380-7560716?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1191257492&sr=8-2. If you zoom in on the picture, you'll see the holes/slots for the different memory cards on the top. Most computers actually have these slots on the bottom, and many computers even have a slide cover over it to keep it looking nice.

If you can give me the model number and brand information for your computer, I can maybe help you to know if it has it's own card-reader already.

Ahhh, that makes sense, then. Not many laptops have card readers, because they bite into a chunk of the precious surface area. Since you'll need to plug your camera into your laptop just to upload your pictures anyway, I'm thinking the card reader may be your best bet. And for easily under $20, you can get a nice card reader that anyone can use, doesn't require software, and can play on any computer. Best of luck with uploading the drivers onto your laptop, though -- I know how frustrating that can be sometimes!

I don't know if this is still a live question but I tried the link and the page ust have been moved. I too have lost my disc.

I just got myself a laptop and need to be able to upload from the camera to the laptop when out and about so need the programs on the laptop for this.

Should I be able to copy drivers etc from my PC or do I need to download them straight to the laptop? And have you got an updated link to the drivers you mention above?
