Try putting the camera in Playback, then pushing the Menu button and scrolling to Setup. There should be an option for Time/ Date under the Setup menu. I'm not sure if you can just set the time and date there, or if you can also choose to have a stamp on the photos. Let me know if you still need help and I'll keep looking.
