"Wonderful camera"

I am extremely happy with my S5000. It takes wonderful pictures and is compact so you can take it everywhere with you. I cannot understand though why it is stated as being a 3.1 million pixel camera but can actually go up to 6 million pixels. Why isn't it advertised as a 6 million pixel camera? The only aspect I am very disappointed in, is the 1.5 telephoto zoom lens. There is hardly any difference in pictures taken with this. I actually bought the telephoto lens based on the Fujifilm brochure for the S5000 which shows various stages of a picture taken with the camera and the telephoto lens. The end result of the picture taken with the telephoto lens is magnified far more than it actually is. I am going to take this matter further with the manufacturers as this could be misleading advertising.
