how do I change my raw setting to jpeg

my camera has raw on the lcd display, how do I change it to jpeg? I bought this camera used and no manual came with it.

It'll be in the menu settings. But RAW is actually a better, higher resolution format. If you have that capability, always shoot in RAW, then take something like Adobe Photoshop Elements to convert to JPEG as you need. But RAW is a completely uncompressed image. And ideal recording format if you plan to do any photo image processing.

RAW has some advantages for the enthusiast or pro, but not for the everyday point and shooter. RAW will slow down your camera speed, fill up your memory card, and fill up your computer hard drive. I own this camera and tried RAW, but immediately switched back to JPEG. To change back to JPEG, turn the power switch to camera mode (red), press the menu/ok button, scroll down to "set" and scroll to the right, on the new screen, scroll down to CCD-RAW, click to the right and move the curser to OFF. Enjoy the camera!
