4GB compact flash card won't initialize in my camera.

I just purchased a new 4GB compact flash card for my camera. I keep getting the error message card not initialized but I have formated it many times in my camera without any indication of error. My PC appears to be able to format this card in either Fat32 or NTFS file system. Although I did not format because I wasn't sure which system to choose. So I am not certain a format would take place. One site said to format in FAT system not fat32. And fat is not an option on my PC. Not sure if fat32 or NTFS file system will be usable in my S7000 camera. I never had this problem with a compact flash card in this camera before. I am not sure if I should even be formatting it in my pc. The new card says 15MB/s. I have used scan disk ultra II cards before without issues however they were 128 256 and 512 cards. I really want to be able to use this card in my camera. Is the 15 mb/s the issue? Or is my camera limited to reading cards under a GB? Or is there a problem with the card? Any solutions?

To quote Steves- Digicams " Fuji specifically states that the S7000 is to be used with xD-Picture Cards or IBM/Hitachi Micro-drives".

If you want to use compact flash, limit yourself to 1 gig cards because there has been records that the camera exhibits ' weird problems ' of power drain during switch off . See this review

So it is not a problem of formatting, using the computer or the camera. Rather it is whether the camera support 4 gig CF card , and all reports indicate that it does not.
