good but not excellent
(al - 5/28/07)I have this for 1 month now and I must say I,m abit disappointed. Reason: a lot of noise ove ISO 400 and purple fringing (bad). The purple (blue) fringing can be seen when taking pictures in good light conditions and where the high contrast zones are (i.e. three leaves and sky contrast). Indeed it takes awesome pictures in macro mode, nice landscapes and night pictures (night mode).
