What is the best telephoto lens I can get for Fuji s700?

I've looked at the Opteka lens on ebay and they seem too cheap and have some bad reviews. Are there any good lens I can buy for this camera? I mostly want it to take photos of birds about 15 feet away.

You can't. The S700 is a fixed lens and as such, you can't change the lenses. Best you can do is a teleconverter, but they have some serious trade offs, namely loss of 1-2 stops of light (speed of the lens, making it slower), clarity issues, and enhanced camera shake. NOt really worth it, IMHO.

And zooming from quite a distance will cause blur. I have owned this camera for 2 years, purchase price was $199 at Meijer. I love the camera, but it blurs pretty badly when zooming and in low light. I have NOT tried to 2 second shutter delay, that may make a difference. I just thought of that. The blur occurs from pressing the shutter down, so I will definitely try the delay for still/zoom pictures.
