Must set ISO setting to 80 - 200 even while using AUTO mode
(Mark - 10/23/06)At first, my Fuji S9000 photos were poor, and I was thinking that I made the wrong camera choice. But then, I stumbled upon changing the ISO setting to 80 (using F button), and bang, the photos in AUTO mode came out fantastic. I now just adjust the ISO from 80 - 400 depending on the light and shoot in AUTO mode, and I am now very happy with the photos. Do not use this camera in ISO mode over 400, the pictures will not be any good.
