SX100 IS vs Fuji S9000?

I know that question sounded rather weird, considering they are totally different cameras. But, for $50 more than the SX100 IS, I can get the Fuji S9000. For some reason Digitalcamera-hq.com gave it a C+. I guess I can sort of understand that, since when it came out it was priced like a budget DSLR, and obviously a DSLR will have better image quality. But now that it is so much cheaper, would I be better off getting it, or the Canon SX100 IS? About the only thing in Canon's favor IMO is image stabilization.
Which will have better overall image quality?

Tom,

The Fuji S900 does rate over 4 stars (out of 5) from 188 reviews, so it can't be all that bad. It was introduced over 2 years ago while the Canon SX100 IS is new. The SX100 IS also comes with image stabilization; something that wasn't as available two years ago. It will do better in low light situations because of that function. I get the less expensive Canon
