Why V10 fuji camera will NOT come on?

My V10 was working fine, I thought the battery was dead. I can charge it and the red light comes on but when I unplug it from charger it will NOT come on, do any one have any suggestions?

Lithium ion batteries do lose capacity over time and can reach the point where the capacity simply won't power the camera.

Also, it could be a problem with the leads in the camera not being able to deliver power to the camera itself. What James said is much more common, but try and take the camera to a camera repair store, they can usually diagnose the problem for free.
