the battery door plate will not close tightly how can I have this fix or isit covered under warrenty

There should be a one year warranty period for most cameras.
However it probably pays to check with Gateway with respect to the condition of your camera.

Its not under warranty anymore that i know of that is why i am asking if there is anything that i can do to get it fixed with you all without spending to much if not anything because the camera is in very very good condition and i dont want to get rid of it because i really like it alot and i would really like to keep it instead of buying a new one

gateway does not carry replacement battery doors. has anyone found a supplier for this part?
