Lens is Stuck and LDC Displays 'error 3'

Lens is stuck open, will not shut when turning off camera. Also will not take any pics and the screen reads 'error 3'. This all happen at once! Any solutions besides throwing it away? Thanks!!

it's pretty much worthless now, try taking the camera apart and messing with the lens controls to try to get it down. the camera is a bad model, I suggest buying a cannon brand and getting an extended waranty.

really all you need to do is shove the lence back in it may seem like your hurting it but it makes it work agin but make sure you do this while its off
