there are 2 different batteries required for this camera; one is the aa battery but another is needed for the flash where is it located

i changed the aa batteries located on the side; but i still get 'low battery' which means i need to change a round 12 volt battery for the flasher but cannot find where to change it; please help

Why don't you call Gateway, or go online and search for the user manual?

I agree with Richio. I'd contact Gateway's customer service/technical support department and see if they can tell you. I did a good bit of searching around and I can't seem to find any info on the issue. Are you sure there's a separate flash battery? I don't know of many cameras that do this--none, really. Where did you get that information?

The separate battery seems like a clever idea, actually---saving the AA's for photos.
