creating problems when operating dig.camera

when I operate my camera the following words displayed offen

protected card

That just means that your SD card is in protected mode. There is a tiny plastic switch on your camera's card which protects the card and prevents it from being written to. You just push the switch down and you can write to it again. No problems there.

My card is not protected, but the camera says it is. The switch is not in the locked position.

Have you tried inserting another card? If you can repeat the issue, then you know it's a camera issue. Recommend that you reset the camera and look for firmware updates on Gateway's website.

If you can't, then suggest you try reformatting the card using a USB memory card reader and do it via your PC.
