It looks like the original T-50 battery was made by Duracell, so I would go to them. I don't think any store except for Batteries Plus or other specialty battery stores would carry this battery. Here is a Duracell site that carries it. http://www.duracelldirect.com/gateway_dc-t50_batteries_digital-camera_drf60res.aspx
Hope this helps, if you have any other questions feel free to ask.

I agree with Aditya that you need to stick with a reputable battery manufacturer. One thing you have to beware of counterfeit Lithium ion batteries that are offered "for a song:"

Counterfeit batteries are batteries designed to fool you into thinking that they are from the original equipment manufacturer (OEM), such as Canon, Pentax, or Nikon. While counterfeits can be nearly identical to OEM batteries in appearance, their internal workings are not. Many times these batteries are not made to OEM specifications and can have dangerous failures. Counterfeit batteries have been known to burn or explode. Check with your camera manufacturer if you have a question about the authenticity of a battery you own.

I bought a BP-N60-CL at Office Max. It is 1000Mah so slightly better current rating than the original battery (960 Mah). A sticker on the battery states it fits HP digital cameras models HP R607, R707, R717 and all similar models. The sticker also states the battery is a replacement for HP R07. I bet HP made the camera for Gateway so that is why the HP battery fits.
