I would say Internet is the best place to search for the battery.
Just key in " dct50 battery " and you will find all the sites that sell the battery.

For example, two makes are available at this site :

You can buy a battery for this camera at Best Buy retailer.

I got a battery at Radio Shack, 29.95, take your battery with you to match up. Good luck..
