Okay
(Rachel Morrison - 11/15/06)I bought this camera in a bundle with a printer, knowing nothing about cameras: my first digital. For the first two years I hardly ever took pictures, and it was ok. Recently I took an interest in photography and discovered the many limitations. Oh boy. the batteries. You definitely need a ton of batteries and a recharger. You can take an average of 15 pictures before the batteries are dead. But if you give it a break for a few minutes/switch 2 sets of batteries back and forth you can get more out of it. Sound and video quality is pretty bad. You can get about 60 pictures before the internal memory card is full. A lot of the times the pictures are dark/green/ blue. I blamed that on my picture taking but now I'm pretty sure it's the camera. The flash is super slow. Pictures are often blurry because you have to wait so long. For a first time user, this is an ok camera. I have some great pictures. And it was only $150, sooo...but if you're at all serious about picture taking, DEFINITELY upgrade. Why buy HP when you can get a more trusted, long lasting brand?
