Avoid if possible
(Matt - 2/12/07)I got this camera as a graduation present from high school. For an entry level camera it's.... okay at best. It's very easy to use, has its drivers pre-installed on Macs now, and won't break the bank.
However, the display is horrendous; it's grainy and the colors are off (how in God's name did a red look yellow to this thing?!) The flash is also pretty bad; it's bright, but it's a long flash and tends to generate a rather bad shadow. Finally, this thing eats batteries like it's going out of style. On average I'll have to change the batteries twice a week.
There's a reason they don't make this camera anymore. If you want to stay under $160 then go for the Fuji FinePix F20 instead.
