Well the first suggestion is to try new batteries, but that never really seems to work. Usually it is a mechanical error that much be serviced, sorry. But there are random weird easy fixes for some brands and modes when this happens. Anyone have the same issue?

Thank you for taking the time to respond to my question. Yes I have tried putting new batteries in it. I have even talked to a representative from hp, and she said it was something mechanical, it has to be taken or sent somewhere to be fixed.
