I would recommend calling HP customer support; they have a repair center that could help with your camera, or if you'd rather not send it in to them they can most likely give you a list of retailers in your area who handle repairs of HP products. I found the phone number for technical support- 1-800-474-6836- and I'd recommend giving them a call, as they may be able to troubleshoot your camera with you and try to pin down the problem before moving on to repairs.
Of course, if the camera is under some sort of warranty from the place you bought it, then take it there first. I'm assuming from the age of the camera that it isn't, but figured I'd mention it just in case.
