Won't Work!!!

When working properly, this camera takes great pictures and is very easy to use. But after owning the camera fore a year and a half, it quit focusing. It won't focus manually or digitally. I contacted HP and because the warranty is over there was nothing they could do. They offered to trade it in on an HP R817 for a fee of $212. That darn camera only costs $250 anway!!! This is the second HP camera I have owned that has guit working. The other is a R607. Luckily this one is under warranty still so they are replacing it for free. Unfortunately it takes over a month for the process to take place so I will be borrowing a friends Nikon during that time. I will never buy another HP camera. I have many co-workers and friends who own Nikons and Fujis and have never had the first problem out of them. I would not recomend these cameras because of there poor quality and reliability. Spend the extra cash and buy a Nikon, Fuji or Canon!!!!
