Battery problems maybe solved with firmware update

( - 5/15/06)

I did encounter the same battery issues as described by others (just a few pictures with fully charged 2500 mA rechargeables). I now updated the firmware to version 1.02 (http://www.kodak.com/go/c340downloads) and I have the impression that the "battery low" sign comes as early as before, but that I can go on taking pictures for a much longer time (more than 50 pictures at battery low state). If that impression lasts, I'd be a very happy owner of this camera.
