Decent, machine, battery life brings it down.

I recieved this camera as a gift, for simple recreational pic taking, parks, sports events, vacations, etc. It has a bunch of great features(close up, far away, movemment, even video) but the batteries have to be replaced after about every 50 pictures. I don't keep it on for extended periods of time. I almost never review pictures on the integrated screen. It simply dies out about 400 pictures before the manual says it would.
