Is NERO a burning software program? The problem is that you are burning to the CD as a data file and not as a video file. The files should be saving as .mpg or .avi to play on a DVD player. I have no experience with Nero does anyone else have info?

Let me see if I understand you correctly :

a. You made the movies in Quicktime
b. The movies are now in a Kodak camera
c. You are using Nero
d. You want to burn the movies in a disk to see it in a DVD player.

If you can confirm, or make changes to items a to d, I will be in a better position to give you a solution.

You have to find a tool (Program) that can convert the *.MOV files which your camera record in to another format like : mpeg, avi or mpg

I tried the Xilisoft.mov.converter and it was sucessful tool that changed the *.MOV shot by a Kodak C340 camera of one of my friends to *.avi

http://www.xilisoft.com/index.html

Try to download it from : http://www.download.com/Xilisoft-Video-Converter/3000-2194_4-10620142.html

Yes we all seem to be having this problem. I own a kodak easyshareC533. And yes those nasty videos come in quicktime format..ugh! I use bink and smacker to convert mine to avi, but nero burns them off like crap. Please can someone smart about this kinda thing tell me how to successfully pull this off. can someone explain to me the easiet way to covert these movies and burn them off onto dvd, so that the quality doesn't SUCK! Burning them off with nero, just isn't working for me? What is the best conversion, AVI or something else. when i burn these movies off with Nero the video is choopy as hell, there's sqaures all over it and there are no setting in nero that fixes it. After i convert my movies they r in 640 by 480, and they look and sound fine, but once nero gets ahold of them the sound is great and the quality is beyond low. nero burns them off as 352 by 240, ugh. I just can't figure this one out! Help u smart people!
