Omg i just broke my Kodak EasyShare C643! i need help. All it keeps saying is:Lens error 115,0,0, 2610 and then turns off, what do i do>?????

Alright, i was at the beach with my friends, my camera was working fine, until i got ot my friends house. The camera turned off because the batteries were dead, without closing the lens. I put new batteries in, and still it did nothing. I panicked and then i pushed the lens back in. I know that was a stupid thing to do, and then i put the new batteries in and now all it says is Lens error 115,0,0, 2610 and then it turns off!!!!! what is going on??? someone please help me. Is this is the warrenty? can it be fixed, or do i need a whole new camera??

Hi,
i too had lens error message and it turns off, but only when i zoom. In your case I would advise decent batteries like Duracell. If this doesn't work and If it is still under guarantee then I would recommend you try that, I don't think I would mention the beach though, nor pushing the lens back, knowing Kodak they will use this as a get out clause. If they won't repair it under guarantee and want to charge you then it would probably be better putting the money to a non Kodak camera. Sorry i don't have any better advise .
good luck,
best regards
vince
