Hi, my LED has several lines goingf thru it and now the pictures do not go to the card, it acts like it is working, but the pictures are not saved on

I haven't used this camera enough to say it is time to throw away and buy a new, I did buy a new card, but that didn't help, let me know if this is a simple fix or if Kodak will stand behind this, Bill

It sounds like you may have dropped the camera or damaged it in some way. First, it sounds like the screen could be broken because of the lines going through the LCD. It's also possible that at the same time the connection between the camera processor and card isn't working properly, or just the processor isn't working properly, so the pictures aren't saved, which could also result in lines on the LCD. Finally, its possible that the CCD in the camera is broken, which causes both lines on the LCD, but usually a picture still shows up on the card. With basically any of these problems, plus several more, it will cost about $150-300 to get the camera fixed, which is basically the cost of a brand new camera, so I would recommend getting another.
