What aspect of the display do you need help with? The display in picture mode is a viewfinder in a way for what your shoot is going to look like, minus flash. It is used to frame up a shot before snapping. There are many numbers and words on your screen as well to tell you the fucos, ISO, batt life, and so on. In play back mode the window works as a viewer for the pictures you have take. There will be more numbers and information on this screen. Do you have something specifically that you were curious about?
