Breakable!

( - 10/24/05)

I have had this camera since April of 2004. After about 7 months I dropped it and a piece of the battery door came off. My fault, but I dropped it on a fairly soft surface, so I was somewhat disappointed. I called Kodak to get it replaced, they do not replace pieces if it was dropped so I decided to go on ebay and buy the battery door and get that piece replaced myself. The battery door with s&h cost me $12 dollars as opposed to sending it to Kodak for $20 to ship and then if they found out it was broken then it would have cost ME to ship it back to me plus cost of fixing it! :( So ebay helped a lot. After I replaced the door about 8 months, the flash broke. Dont know how. I replaced the batteries, still no flash, dont know how to fix that one! :( All in all a nice camera for easy pictures, but be VERY gentle with the camera!!! It's very user friendly and takes good quality of pictures but the camera casing isnt all that good, I am on my 2nd Kodak ... bought the 2nd at a pawn shop for $70.00 and it seems to be okay! :)
