Good for beginners

This is the first digital camera my family got. I think it's a good beginner camera but if you want to do anything really fancy you need a more expensive one. Like if you want to do close up photos, you have to get up close to it, because the zoom isn't that great but you have to be careful because the flash might drown it out. I don't like he time lag when you take a picture, because then you can't take action shots. The softwhere is easy to use, and I have the dock, so that might add to it. Even though it is an okay camera, I am very much looking forward to getting a better one.
