Can lens in Kodak CX7300 be used to replace damaged lens in Kodak CX6300?

I dropped my Kodak CX6300 and damaged the lens. Someone gave me a CX7300. Can its lens be used to replace the one in the 6300? Everything works on the 6300 but the lens. Thank you very much for your answer.

Hi Cammille,

Almost certainly not. The CX7300 uses a fixed lens (no zoom) whereas the CX6330 (there is no Kodak model with the model number CX6300) has a 3x zoom lens. I would guess that the internals are entirely different, and the camera certainly wouldn't know how to operate (or not operate, as it were) the fixed lens.

Sorry!
