Love the photos but...

(Rebecca Scriven - 8/31/06)

So disappointed with my DX6340 now, it's been great for 3 years, but at 3 years 1 month the battery problems have started. I'm so glad I found this site and could work out that my internal battery has probably given up, I was thinking it was the fact that the battery door had broken and there wasn't a good contact there anymore. I've tried so many new batteries in it and it takes two photos then dies. And I've had to go with the rubber band system to hold the battery door closed. SO SAD!! I love the quality of the photos but I just can't afford the $200 + (au) to get it fixed. I also thought I may have dropped it at some stage or a friend using it may have to cause the door to break, but now I know it was probably just going to happen not matter how careful I was. Sorry Kodak, I don't think I'll be going with you again.
