Kodak DX6340 - another spent battery door!

Good pictures in daylight or with plenty of light. Poor pictures inside such as taking a picture of a our kids playing basketball. Battery door broke which I believe leads to batteries going dead or no battery connection. My wife complains of short battery life (we are using rechargeables). With no battery connection, internal date feature changes back to 1/1/06. Biggest issue is that stupid battery door!
