Hi there,
If you go to www.kodak.com and then search for your camera model, they have an area where you can order replacement parts. The page for this particular camera is: http://www.kodak.com/global/en/service/products/ekn026769.jhtml

I don't see this particular battery door offered as a replacement part, but they do offer a phone number which you can call to talk to someone about ordering what you need. Hope that helps.

I had the same problem with a broken door. I did send my camera to Kodak and got it back quickly. It was repaired at a nominal price. Obviously, this door has been a problem and a nuisance for many owners of this camera. Sending it to be repaired is much less expensive than purchasing a new camera.

I had the same problem with the battery door for my DX6340. After looking around on the Internet it does appear that this is a design flaw. Kodak wants me to send my camera to Connecticut for repairs. But why would I want them to put on another door that will also eventually break? Instead I have Super glued the door back together and plan to reenforce it with a small piece of metal and some duct tape. It may not look good but I'm certain that it will hold the door together better than the original design.

Will my camera not work without the battery door? I just got it and the battery door did not stay closed. Then one day it just fell off entirely. Sadly, before it fell off completely, it was dead and I didn't have the money for a new battery and charger. Over all, the camera was always dead, but now that I bought a battery and charger, it is not working because of the door? Please help!
thank you
