Beautiful Color

( - 3/29/06)

I've had this camera for about 18 months now and I am very happy with it. It takes absolutely beautiful photographs. The color is exceptional, as it usually is with Kodak cameras, so no surprise there! The zoom always comes in handy, though if you use the digital zoom the picture quality suffers greatly. One of the only problems I have with this camera is that the auto focus often fails and you have to let up on the shutter and refocus, which can be a pain if you're trying to photograph people. Another thing, though this is true with most digital cameras (minus the pro ones of course), is the poor photo quality in low light conditions, but this can be fixed by some editing with the easyshare software, so it's not a big problem. Also, landscape photos at night are impossible, despite the night landscape mode. Overall though, I love this camera! I am so pleased with the quality of the pictures and the color is the best I've ever seen from a digital camera! It's definately worth it if you're looking for more than a point & shoot.
