Great all around camera

( - 2/14/06)

This camera will do everything the average person needs it to do and is excellent for learning on for those who aspire to be something more. The 10x zoom comes in handy when you want to get a little closer to nature. At 5MP, the 3x digital zoom is not worth using, as it drastically decreases the picture quality. The plethera of settings makes taking the perfect picture simple. Aperture, Shutter and full Manual modes are easily set with a dial at your finger tip. An easy transition from the shutter release button. The preset condtions for this camera do a great job, as long as there are no mixed lighting conditions.
Overall, if you are looking for a camera that is going to take great pictures while you are learning what the setting on a camera do, this camera is an EXCELLENT choice. The fact that you can attach filters and external lenses, external flash, DC adapter, and many other accessories available for this camera cannot be matched for the price.
