Great bang for the buck

(Brian - 10/15/06)

I had a DX7590 for about a year before it was stolen, love the camera, great color, great quality. After it was stolen, my wife bought me a refurb Z7590 off the kodak site. Same exact camera, still performing well. It definitely doesn't match up to an SLR, but it has a buncha good features. Zoom is great, don't use the digital zoom, you can easily blow up the pictures on any software and get better results. Macro setting blows, the autofocus wont focus within a foot or so. This camera works best in manual mode though. Does great low light if you know how to use it. Don't believe me? visit my deviantart at http://handloflucifer.deviantart.com and see my gallery, i have a few night shots on there. ISO 80 is a plus, most lower-midrange priced cameras wont do it. I'm currently looking into some lenses for it... anyone know of the good ones? experiences?

All in all, great camera, auto-focus only is a severe downside, fix that and you got one perfect camera!
