Great all 'round camera

(roy - 3/20/07)

I've been through the entire spectrum of photography including huddling in dark rooms refilling 35mm cans. Then real life happened with kids, and yards, and all. Tried to stay in it when digital first hit with a Nikon. It was OK but at 1.3MP soon overcome. Until the Kodak 7590 came along I remained unexcited. This little camera is really sweet. Makes taking pictures fun again. Sure it's no SLR but who's got the time or money these days. If I told my honey that I was going to spend 3-4K on a really good Digital SLR system that would equal my old my 35mm rig....HA! I've had no problems, great battery life - except for really long days a spare is not required. I've just bought both the tele and W/A and am going to upgrade to the p712. Hope it is as good.
