Read your owners manual

(j - 12/25/07)

I've had this camera for a while now and can honestly say it takes as good a picture as my wife's old Canon AE1. She still uses that relic and prefers it over any digital out there.
Like most people I'm looking for that one in a million shot and I take tons of pictures. Since I hate changing out film it was easy for me to fall in love with this camera. With a 1 or 2 GB SD card you can shoot all day and review each shot or wait to do it at home later.
Unfortunately I have never read the entire owners manual and at my daughter's high school graduation ceremony I chose that moment in time to try the manual settings. Big mistake because every picture came out blurry.
So, lesson learned. Read the owners manual first then operate camera. Photography 101.
I really don't think there is anything I dislike about this camera and would recommend it to anyone.
