I bought a W/A Kodak lens #EP5153062 for my DX7590.

I'm now told I need adapter 1525088 which I can't find anywhere. Also Kodak says to remove by unscrewing "the lens thread ring". and screw the apapter on. I have taken the DX7590 to two camera stores and they could not get the "ring" off. A third camera repair shop removed the bezel around the lens barrel (for $75.00) which revealed no way to screw on a lens adapter. I now have +$200 invested an still no adapter or even know how to install it if I had it. The DX7590 has a Varigon 38-380 (equiv) AF 10x Optical lens.

Frankly, I don't thinking adding a w/a attachment - which isn't really a lens, so much as a converter, isn't worth the hassle or the tradeoffs of barelling through the existing lens, a loss of light up to 1 stop and clarity issues.
